January Cold
Cold January days
and colder nights
bring snow and sleet
and slippery ice
Best to stay in
the shelter of
home, away from
cold gusty wind
and freezing temperature -
to sit in front of
fire's warmth
reading favorite poets
and authors
So so true. What a comfort it is to read what you write.

Very picturesque! Think I'll take that suggestion!
