Summer days end
Fall begins
earth colors change
from shades of green
to a golden hue
Slow to rise
the morning sun
brings daylight
at a later hour;
The air is different
no longer warm
but crisp and cool
better sweathshirt weather
than sleevelessshirt weather
Migrating birds are gone
leaving their summer home
for places far away
