 So nice this rain coming down

Steady like the beat of a drum,

peaceful like a melody playing.

Refreshing after days of

triple digit heat and glaring sun

Cleansing like a baptism renewal;

nature’s rhythmic song

Rain. Wash away the dirt and grime

Quench our thirsting soul

Rain down on us like

a well watered garden

that we may blossom and grow
